Luula Climbing Triangle & Rocker Set Albero No Mattress

Around 6 months of age, babies can use the rungs of the climbing sets to pull up and stand.  As they develop, children begin exploring the structure by climbing partway up and then back down (around 1-2 years of age).  Older children (around 4-5 years of age) typically “master” the climbing sets and are able to climb all the way to the top and climb over and down the other side.

Though the Albero Climber triangle is optimal for 6-month-olds to 8-year-olds, it can still be useful for those outside this age range.  For instance, newborns could lie under the triangle or playhouse with toys hanging from the rungs, similar to a play gym.  Older children will likely find creative uses for the Pikler triangle, such as forts, puppet shows, play homes, tables, or other open-ended play.

The indoor climbing structure fits perfectly into the Montessori philosophy of natural motor development through climbing activities. Arch

Luula has received recommendations from physiotherapists who actively use the climber set for working with children. In reverse, the arch has an ergonomic curvature to receive massages, learn to crawl, or simply be used as the baby’s first obstacle to overcome. The angle of the arch is large enough and ergonomic to ensure a pleasant swing for both children and adults, as well as to be used as a balance board. Connections

With the help of Luula's special connection parts, the sides of the triangle can be changed in length, creating different geometric combinations according to the age and preferences of the children—it can be higher/lower, more complicated/simpler (see pictures). The pins help to secure the chosen type of connection, but the safety is guaranteed by metal screws with a diameter of 6 mm with black handles. The connections provide extra stability when used actively because the joints fix the side edges of the stairs in certain positions from both sides. The indoor play gym can be easily folded to save space.

Triangle

The simple triangular model, inspired by Emmi Pikler’s triangle, has been designed with special care for young children. The angle is adapted for safe climbing; its minimum height is 30 cm, but the total height is only 50 cm. The climbing triangle is made of two stairs (60 cm long and 80 cm wide), which are interconnected by a special connection. The ends of the stairs are not rounded but at certain angles. This solution provides additional stability during activities, as the mutual angles of the parts are maintained not only on the pins but also using their mutual plane of contact. The diameter of the sticks is 28 mm, and their ends are embedded in 8 cm wide stair details. When one triangle becomes uninteresting to a child over time, its edges can be extended and shaped with the help of another triangle or arch. Luula’s triangles provide double stability and durability—even if the triangle is tried by an adult. The indoor climbing set will fit perfectly together with other Montessori furniture in any kid’s playroom!

Ramp

The sliding board has built-in hooks at one end, but the other end of the ramp is firmly fixed by two parallel steps, which allows the board to be connected to a triangle or other Luula’s Climber components, making it longer to use and versatile. One side of the ramp is very soft and smooth, and the other side has stepping steps—both for developing physical abilities and synchronizing logical thinking and movement coordination.
