Busy Board Leon the Professional Fox

Leon was the first. Long-awaited, polished, and pampered down to the last detail. They say that with a first child, we always have our hands full. Leon is a true professional, keeping little hands busy all day long. And in the meantime, Mom and Dad can enjoy a warm coffee.
The Leon fox busy board consists of 23 elements: gears, traffic light/LED panel, key lock, furniture handle with wheels/abacus, dammit, rod with screws, window hook, bicycle bell, mustard seed swivel wheel, maze, clock, little bell, knocker, straight latch, furniture wheel, door, mirror, latch, slider, switch, shape sorter, shoe with a lace, and Velcro shoe.

The board has brackets on the back for wall mounting. Screws are not included and must be chosen according to the wall type. In the free-standing version, the stand attaches to the board with hinges. Mounting hardware is included. Assembly is simple and requires a screwdriver. Safe and stable setup depends on proper installation of the lower support. The included screw must be securely tightened to prevent the stand from folding.

These boards are made in Poland. Foxy Family uses hardwood plywood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), guaranteeing materials from responsibly managed sources, and safe, certified water-based paints. Each element is carefully polished.

Foxy Family boards have been tested by an independent laboratory and hold a Certificate of Conformity (CE) with European toy safety standards PN-EN 71-1 and PN-EN 71-2.

The size of the board is 31.5 x 24.4 inches.

For the standing version, the stand is attached to the board with hinges. The set includes elements for mounting the stand. Assembly is easy and requires a screwdriver. Safe and stable stand placement depends on the proper assembly of the lower support. The included screw must be properly tightened to prevent the stand from collapsing.

Deciding to buy a sensory activity board for your toddler is just the first step. Now you have to choose one! And that is not easy. There are many different pin boards. Some with multiple elements, others with only a few. Some rectangular and very minimalist, others messy and with multiple elements. How do you know which one is best for your little one?

It is easier if you realize that the busy board must meet the needs of your child. Look at the number of elements. An activity board can have many or just a few elements. It is best to choose a board with ten to twenty attachments. Such a number guarantees entertainment without boredom and will not overwhelm your child, which could happen with too many details.

Of course, the elements on the board must be diverse. It is good to make sure that they stimulate the senses of sight, touch, and hearing and at the same time vary in difficulty. In this way, the board grows with the child and will capture his attention for several years.

Safety is also important. Find out what materials the manufacturer uses and whether the paint is certified child-safe. It is advisable to round off the corners of the board well and smooth the edges.
