A simple stick with a ball knob evolved into a hand-laminated cherry and white ash frame for strength. The handle is made from beautiful hardwood for beauty and durability. The traditional "ball in cage" noisemaker became four clackers of colorful hardwoods. Each silky surface is shaped into a compound curve and begs for your touch.
As the design evolved the clacker kept getting nicer. Decades and hundreds of clackers after that first attempt it is more beautiful and durable than ever. Fastened with wooden dowels instead of nails or screws ensures this toy will last through several generations. The main joints are fastened with 5 interlocking hard maple dowels to prevent loosening. The final design is a joy to touch.
