Made of solid cherry wood, this vertical stacking toys are reminiscent of stacking cups and dowel stackers. These stackers provide practice with
size discrimination
shape discrimination
fine motor skills, and much more.
Heir+Loom Kids' original design is meant to be introduced as young as 9 months and used up until age 2. If using with a young baby, start by introducing the top two pieces of the circle stacker. Slowly introduce the other two shapes until the child can discriminate between all three shapes. At this point, your child is ready for size discrimination.
Depending upon the child's age, you may wish to introduce one stacker at a time until the child is ready for a greater challenge. By 16-18 months, your child may be ready to practice shape and size discrimination by working with all three stackers at once.
The stackers can be nested or stacked like a tower. They also make great building blocks for open ended play.
Finished with a beeswax and flaxseed oil blend.
Dimensions:
The largest shapes are approximately 4 inches and range to approximately 1.75 inches for the smallest pieces. All shapes are large enough not to present a choking hazard.
