The Rainbow Stacker is an amazing open-ended toy that's great for kids of all ages. It is different from the typical puzzle because it is an open-ended toy. There are thousands of ways to stack it and play with it. It can be used to practice balancing skills, or designing patterns in a more typical environment, but is great to incorporate into open-ended pretend play.

The rainbow can become a fantasy castle, a track for cars, a mystical maze, a hilly playfield, or anything that your little one can imagine. It makes a great gift for children and can be a great replacement for a wooden blocks set. This type is typically seen in a Waldorf or Montessori-style education setting, but will also go great in a homeschooling environment.

Sensory Play's Rainbow Stackers are of the highest quality made from poplar hardwood. They hand-cut each rainbow to order and sand them to perfection. After the initial sanding, they stain them with AP-certified, non-toxic wood dye, and get a second sanding. Finally, they rub the products with their homemade wood polish which is made from organic coconut oil and beeswax. They then pack them securely and send them to you for your little ones to enjoy.

Please note as this item is dyed, the wood grain shows through, and due to grain and wood variation, the colors may differ from the pictured rainbow. In addition with any dye, if the rainbow gets wet you may see some color transfer. The dye is AP-certified non-toxic. If this toy is going to be used for a child who puts items in their mouths, Sensory Play strongly recommends purchasing the unpainted or unstained version of this rainbow stacker.

Dimensions: 10 inches long, 5 inches tall and 2.25 inches thick.

Please note Sensory Play uses poplar hardwood for all of their rainbows, which can contain naturally occurring streaks of blue, purple, black, and brown, which come as the tree draws minerals out of the ground. They also use stains instead of many that use paint so that the natural beauty of the wood can show through. This is intentional and can vary from rainbow to rainbow. If you have a request to have a piece with more or less natural coloration (Sensory Play cannot guarantee none), please do so at the time of ordering as any exchange will require additional shipping charges if natural coloration is the reason for the request.
